When is Kirkland Uncorked?

Where is it held?

The event is held in downtown Kirkland’s Marina Park at 25 Lakeshore Plaza, Kirkland Wash. The event is close to a large selection of restaurants, bars, and shopping.

Where can I find parking?

Free Two-Hour Parking:

  • Along the street in the downtown core
  • Select spaces in the Marina Park lot
  • Select spaces in the Lake Street/Central lot

Free Four-Hour Parking:
In the Municipal Parking Garage located under the Kirkland Library. Entrances to the garage are located on Third Street or Kirkland Avenue.

Pay Lots

  • All day parking available in the Municipal Parking Garage for $5.00
  • Metered parking is available in the Lake Street/Central lot and the Marina Park lot
  • Kirkland’s downtown core also has pay parking lots available

How much does it cost to get in?

Tasting & Lifestyle Garden admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the entrance. Price includes a souvenir tasting glass and ten wine tasting tickets. Wine Tastes are 1-3 tickets depending on the price of wine.

Can I buy advanced tickets?

Yes! Buy an advance ticket to save $5 and go through the express VIP line at the event. Advanced Tickets can be bought through brownpapertickets.com or at any Advanced Ticket Outlet.

What is the appropriate ID to get in?

The WA Liquor Control Board will accept 1) a driver's license with a photo from any state; 2) a current passport; 3) a DMV identification card; and 4.) a military card. The state identification card and/or the military card must have a picture of the person, the person's name, address, date of birth, a physical description and the signature of the person.

Does Kirkland Uncorked accept credit cards or checks?

We accept credit cards as well as cash for payment of admission. We do not accept checks.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, but children are not allowed in the Tasting Garden. All Tasting & Lifestyle Garden ticket holders must be 21 and over to enter.

What is the deal with glasses and tickets?

Okay, so you're in. Now what? Well, in order to sample wine at the festival you must have the official event souvenir glass; servers will not pour wine into anything else. Admission includes a souvenir glass while supplies last, and 10 tasting tokens. Wine servers do not accept cash. Tickets for wine need to be purchased at the main ticket booth when you enter or from the additional ticket booth inside. Tickets cost $1 a piece. Wine Tastes are 1-3 tickets depending on price of wine. Tickets are non-refundable.

When do admission and extra ticket sales cease?

On both Friday and Saturday tickets and admission will stop at 8:00pm, precisely one-half hour before the taps are closed at 8:30pm. Be aware of this when scheduling your visit to the festival. We want you to be happy. So arrive early and allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy the festival. On Sunday tickets and admission will stop at 5:00pm.

When does wine sampling end?

On Saturday the event will announce last call at 8:15pm. No wine will be served after 8:30pm. The festival closes at 9:00pm. On Sunday last call will be at 5:15pm and the festival will close at 6:00pm.

Is there any food on site?

Yes! The festival will feature restaurant sampling sessions on all three days. You can sample bite size portions of signature dishes from regional restaurants for free. Pairing Plates developed by Epicurean Catering will be available for purchase in the wine garden. Festival food will also be outside of the tasting garden.

Is smoking allowed?

Kirkland Uncorked is an outdoor event and smoking is permitted. We ask that you do not litter, use the trash receptacles and be respectful to other guests.

What about designated drivers?

If you are part of a group and plan to drink, assign a designated driver. Designated drivers who register at the main entrance will receive water and soda tickets. Designated drivers may not drink wine while at the festival. Please abide by this rule and help us create a safe event for everyone. Designated driver admission is $15.

What if the person I'm with doesn't drink? Do they have to pay $25?

Guests (including designated drivers) who are not drinking pay a $15 non-drinking admission fee. This ticket can be bought at the gate.
